LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) is the broad category. SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) has a rigid limestone-mineral core — most durable, best for high-traffic areas, more comfortable on the foot than tile. WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) has a softer foam-like core — quieter and warmer underfoot but slightly less dent-resistant. We install all three and help you pick the right one for each room.
A single bedroom (~150 sqft) installs in one day. A typical ranch-style single floor (~1,200–1,500 sqft including kitchen, living, and hallway) takes 3 to 4 days. We handle subfloor inspection, acclimation, install, and baseboard trim all in one trip.
Yes — subfloor inspection and minor leveling is part of our standard flat per-square-foot rate. We check for high spots, fill low spots with self-leveler when needed, and ensure the substrate is flat within industry tolerance before any plank goes down. Major leveling (more than 1/4 inch over 10 feet) is quoted separately.
Removal of old carpet, laminate, or floating vinyl is included in the per-square-foot price when it’s a straightforward pull-up. Glued-down vinyl, tile, or hardwood removal involves more labor and is quoted as a separate line item depending on what’s glued and what’s nailed.
In most cases, yes. Vinyl plank is a floating floor that doesn’t need to be attached to the substrate, so as long as the tile is flat, level, and structurally sound, we can install directly over it with appropriate underlayment. This often saves homeowners a significant amount in tile demolition costs.
Yes. We provide a one-year workmanship warranty on all our installations, separate from the manufacturer’s warranty on the planks themselves (most major brands offer 15–25 year residential warranties). If anything we installed buckles, separates, or fails due to our work, we come back and fix it at no charge.
